Keeler makes peace offering

Gotta give Sean Keeler alot of credit for addressing the big elephant in the room and maybe patching things up with HCDS in the porcess. I may be the only person on t he board to read the Denver Post each day. So, FYI, Keeler did a piece a couple days ago that needed to be written. Main point was it is criminal that QBSS has not rec'd any Heisman attention. The Ducks Gabriel and Miami's Ward are not better football players or QBs than Shadeur. NO disrespect to the Buffs as i am personally thrilled with our team, but you put either of those guys on our team as QB and we are not as good. They have better all around talent surrounding them. To boot, i bet QBSS is the first QB taken in the draft. All that being said, i get that the best player doesnt always win the award but to not even get a mention is a joke and seriously damages the credibility of those picking the winner.

Good for Keeler to take a risk on pointng this travesty out and calling his peers out for the sheer dishonesty of the process. At the end of the day CBWRTH is the best candidate on the team and the country but QBSS should not be standing in the shade. I love all these jounalists claiming integrity etc etc when personal biases are clearly at play. Glad Keeler is taking the right stand.

Official Game Thread: Colorado vs Cincinnati

Big one for the Buffs tonight before the bye against Cincinnati! Both teams currently sitting at 5-2, 3-1 in the Big 12. Winner clinches bowl eligibility and stays in the hunt for the conference title, so a lot on the line in this one. Also a massive recruiting weekend for CU with Julian Lewis, Carde Smith and the recently committed Adrian Wilson in town.

Micah Welch is out tonight, nursing that hamstring injury still.

USC OL commit Carde Smith recaps CU official visit

Four-star offensive lineman Carde Smith took his second visit of the season to Colorado this weekend, and the Buffs continue to make a push for the USC commit. Smith says he remains committed to the Trojans, but the Buffs certainly have made a strong impression. He spoke with Sam Spiegelman about his latest trip to Boulder and you can read the full update at the link above.

"It was amazing, I loved the energy."

Well, headed back to ohio

We had a blast. Thx to @dtownbuff for the seats. Got to meet @SoCo Buff and tailgate.

We visited my childhood home in aurora, went by rangeview hs. Boy has it changed.

We hit Estes park, Breckinridge, Georgetown, Pikes peak, got a tour of AFA, and red rocks while here.

Of course being in Boulder Saturday for the game was amazing and we had a ball.

The front range will always be home.

Until next time....

BSU vs UNLV

Just finished a movie with the kids. FWIW Wild Robot is a good one for the family. Anyways, reading the box score this looks worth watching second half. UNLV D holding the Heisman front runner down and both QBs having decent overall games.

Anyone watching and have mor story line ?

BEST OLINE GAME IN YEARS

HAs our OL arrived? Do we have an OL that can carry a team? Are they a top 10 OL with size, strength, speed agility and the experience and smarts of an experienced unit? No. Can they get there? We are going to find out.
THe good news is that they have improved every game and now we have 7 guys in a rotation competing to earn playing time while other team members can carry the team. CIncy came in with 17 sacks and left with 18 because QBSS made a cocky, stupid, knucklehead and predicatble mistake on the first series. He is a great QB that has to get his grill dented every game before he remembers that he cant hold the ball. Fortunately for the buffs it happened in the 1st series of the last two games and then he remembered.

OurOL continues to learn and get better. Cincy was not a great pass rush team and they typically sent just 3 guys, dropping 8 but who cares. THey had 17 sacks for a reason and our guys had a chance to get another look, to grow and gel as a unit. Every other team we play will probably send 4 or 5 guys but QBSS is also learning that he needs to get the ball out. When Utah or TT send 5 guys, that pass to the flat that he was making for 2-3 yards last night, will go for 5-10 yards and QBSS will have a clean jersey.

Really looking fwd to the last 4 games which we will have a chance to win and will likely be favored in each. We know how to win on the road so unless espn decides to push oour kickoff to midnight in the rockies, i like our chances. If the OLINE can continue to grow and KSU and Iowa State can manage a loss, we could have something here.

Loving Dre Miller BTW. He has the look of a receiver that can run hot routes and reliably catch the ball.
