OT - 81 Trips Around the Sun...and Still Counting!

A large group of local friends threw a wonderful party for me on my day of birth…April 28th. Pizza, Cake, Bubbly, and lots of laughs and hugs were shared by all. There were so many balloons tied to my chair that I was afraid that I might blast off into the stratosphere!

Everyday, I am touched by my friends’ kindness and caring gestures, and that includes all of you.

Five years ago, it wasn’t expected that I would still be here, but God has seen fit to grant me more time. There were tears of gratitude and tears of amazement that so many folks showed up or sent me messages on my special day.

Even Ollie, Feline Extraordinaire, got into the act giving me extra nose rubs, purrs, and an occasional love nip. He was hoping to get some of that homemade carrot cake that was simply out of this world. That did not happen…I ate it!

Thank you for your generosity with prayers, positive thoughts and donations!

Blessings to you all…

Craig

Another Florida State transfer addition for the Buffs today. Defensive back Omarion Cooper has committed to Colorado after playing in 12 games with four starts last season in Tallahassee. Cooper, who was a high three-star prospect, picked up big offers from Power Five programs across the country as a high school recruit. CU staffer James Chaney previously coached him in high school so there is a clear connection there as you can see below, which has led to a quick decision only a few days after entering the portal.

Sanders and his staff have produced yet another flip. Dawson Jr. committed to Cincinnati on April 22, but visited Boulder last weekend and changed his mind. He's possesses a smaller stature measuring in at 5-foot-11, 161 pounds.

Dawson and recent commit Omarion Cooper both when to Lehigh Senior High School where director of player operations James Chaney coached. Dawson was listed as an ATh (WR/S) coming out of Lehigh then went to WR at Auburn. Below are some highlights from his senior season:

Colorado first offensive commitment in the post-spring window is 6-foot-5 and 295-pound lineman to provide further size in the offensive trenches. The Florida pipeline continues to flow as Conner is transferring from the Gators and was a three-star prospect out of Deerfield Beach, Fl. He has four years of eligibility remaining coming in as a freshman.

He dealt with a minor thumb and minor knee injury which led him to take a redshirt and set him back in his progress at Florida.
