OT: the Denver Outlaws Lacrosse is returning

On December 16, 2020, the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) announced a merger with Major League Lacrosse (the Outllaws were in that League) The move created a unified outdoor lacrosse league that kept the PLL name and eliminated all home market teams. This left six MLL franchises, including Denver, on the outside. The league retained the rights to the now-retired team identities with the option to use these brands in future expansion. On November 14, 2023 as the PLL announced home cities for each team, it was announced that Chrome Lacrosse Club would be rebranding into the Denver Outlaws.

They will play at DU.

No. 18 Colorado falls 77-71 in OT to Florida State in Sunshine Slam finale

The Colorado men's basketball team's success at the Sunshine Slam in Daytona Beach, Fla., and its undefeated start to the season both came to an end in overtime Tuesday, as the No. 18-ranked Buffs lost 77-71 to Florida State in the tournament championship.

SS breaks record

It’s a fun record to beat regardless of situation and means you throw a lot and have a guy who can accurately connect. Sadly neither Sefo or Sheduer arewinning QBs.
I wondered how many times they threw.
Sefo 325 / 498 3200
Sanders 298/430 3230

65% to 69% Sanders

Good work kid. Sefo was more of a warrior but Sanders much more accurate and better with the long ball (he has night and day better receivers too). Both had zero OL. Sefo got crucified repeatedly on here and the OL was supposedly and excuse. Funny how times change.

I was surprised to see that even after 12 games Sanders won’t likely match Sefo attempts.

Sanders is impressive. He needs to work hard on many of the situational aspects but his accuracy and ability to find the long ball are right there in the stats.

Nice to see

7 years ago today

It was Sunday morning and we had beaten Washington State the night before to go 9-2. Took a photo of my then 1 year-old in Buffs pajamas on a swing smiling. We would beat Utah the next week to go 10-2 and finish the regular season ranked Number 8. Anywho, that photo came up as a reminder today and I was reminded how fun that year was in stark contrast to this year going to shit....

Shedeur injury update after WSU

Shedeur's first injury: numbness in his hand after he got hit in the forearm. He couldn't really grip the ball after.

Second injury: his ankle

"He couldn't grip the ball and his ankle so they took him out of the game," Coach Prime said.

Coach Prime on if they are going to shut him down for the season:

"Shedeur is not that kind of player that he wants to shut down. He wants to finish with his teammates. I'm pretty sure. I haven't talked to him about it, but I'm pretty sure he wants to finish."

Maui Invitational
#7 Tenn and #2 Purdue @ 6 pm MST
#1 KU and #4 Marquette @ 8:30 PM, MST

You want to watch some teams that won't back down or lay an egg, watch these two games.
I watched Purdue beat the Zags last night and saw Marquette take down a young but really good UCLA squad too.
The Bruins have a freshman kid, Sabastian Mack who is lights out good. They played Marquette really tough and are already better than I thought they might be come December. Cronin is a master motivator and a great coach. His team won't get punked.
