Added CU/Arizona number to this post 2.00 Million viewers

The “SEC on ABC” continues to dominate college football viewership this season.

ABC averaged 12.9 million viewers for Georgia-Texas and 10.7 million for Alabama-Tennessee in a Saturday SEC doubleheader, per Nielsen fast-nationals and Adobe Analytics — marking the largest and third-largest audiences of the college football season, respectively.

The “SEC on ABC” now accounts for the three largest audiences of the season, with Alabama-Georgia last month ranking second (11.99M per Nielsen).
ABC now owns 11 of the top 14 college football audiences this season, pending final results from the weekend. Four of the 12 most-watched games this season were created by the latest round of realignment — Georgia-Texas, Ohio State-Oregon on NBC the prior week (10.4M across Nielsen and Adobe Analytics), USC-Michigan on CBS last month (6.32M per Nielsen) and Tennessee-Oklahoma on ABC last month (6.27M per Nielsen).

Takeaways: Tad Boyle developing an 'exciting group' for the upcoming season

"Fans should expect an exciting group to watch," Boyle said.

Tad Boyle touched on a variety of topics at Colorado basketball media day on Monday. Here are my takeaways from his press conference:

Notes from MBB scrimmage

Dropped in for some pregame hoops ahead of CU-KSU. Here's are my notes from today's scrimmage

- Andrej Jakimovski will be the Buffs No. 1 scorer and 3PT shooter this season. He's filling the Tristan da Silva-sized hole that the Buffs really needed. Good from midrange and looks like the most effective 3-point shooter amongst the Buffs. Fast in transition gets to his spot. He creates opportunities for himself to score and he's defending well, but he's mostly been matched with smaller guards.

- Elijah Malone is a physical defender. Of course his presence is most felt in the paint, However, Bangot Dak as well as Harrison Carrington were able to score on him one-on-one. His size works towards his advantage on defense. Haven't seen him make any shots as of yet.

- Bangot Dak looks a lot more decisive and quick during this scrimmage. He scored from a quick assist and immediately got the ball out of his hands for a bucket in the paint. Had that score against Malone. His offensive instincts appear more disciplined and precise when he has an opportunity. He also had a chasedown block on Elijah Malone. Dak did get called on a travel

- Trevor Baskin flashed a bit defensively almost intercepting a pass in transition. Looks like he's getting acclimated to the Buffs offense, but he is disruptive in the backcourt. He had an and-1 in transition and made both of his free throws.

-Julian Hammond looking like himself. Occasional three mixed with an assist here and there. Tried to drive in the paint KJ Simpson style, missed one of his driving attempts. Stays on his guy on defense.

Let me know if you have any question about other players. I'm heading over to football right now!

Indiana and TP

Just watched Indiana for the first time and they dismantled NU. Joel and Gus called the game, and pointed out something interesting . . . they have near the most (or the most) TP players, EXCEPT the OL. 4 out of 5 starters started last year are playing and are a unified group. That seems to be the winning combo . . . we obviously needed better OL players (although would have liked to keep Wells and Tank), but IU is a perfect example of of how the TP can work for most other positions, but you can't keep replacing the OL each year.
