So what do people think about adding SMU and SDSU?

From the NewsStand: https://www.cbssports.com/college-f...ary-before-league-inks-new-media-rights-deal/

Honestly, BYU and Houston might have more cache if not slightly more. I wonder how dried the ink is to the Big 12 deal. If things are so bad that we need to add those 2, we may as well go after BYU and Houston and get a proper foothold into Texas while adding another team in Utah and keeping the Big 12 out of our backyard. Maybe we can squeeze an extra 5 million out of the deal. Both the Texas schools might go for that.

2024 Rivals250 CB Ju'Juan Johnson commits to CU

Four-star Rivals250 athlete/cornerback Ju'Juan Johnson is set to announce his commitment decision tomorrow morning. As Nikki mentioned before, getting a Louisiana recruit who has an LSU offer away from home is about as difficult of a process as you can have as a recruiter from outside that state. Well, things have started to take a turn here over the last day and Colorado is gaining some major steam heading into his announcement.

Johnson's last visit before making a decision was to Boulder, and right now it looks as though the Buffs are in line to add another high-level defensive back to their commitment list. Johnson still has plenty of time before he can sign in December, but this would be a HUGE early win for Deion Sanders.

I also don't think this tweet is any kind of accident from Coach Prime.

Can’t remember the PAC getting this much love

In its last year of relevancy for many the PAC is getting a ton of love and not just USC. The TP work done at the QB position has really put us on the map. Nice to read more than a two sentence blurb about Oregon or USC.

Final Rivals Rankingd

Looking at the final Rankings of the top 25.

Rivals goofy ranking / Average star rating

SEC - 13/12 (includes UT and OU)
BIG - 4/4
ACC - 3/5
PAC - 3/3
BIG XII - 2/0

It is frightening to me with the new alignment just how dominant the SEC is. If they expanded to 24 they could just be their own league. It is interesting that the BIG isn’t doing a better job than they are. The SEC I think is just so dominant they are sucking up so much that could be going elsewhere.
I do wonder now that there is no class size limit and only a scholarship limit will we see more and more guys be pushed out of the SEC after year 1/2 and end up on these other rosters evening the talent distribution out a little more in a less traditional way

New Offensive Line

In this projection the oline starters are:

LT - Tank - Gerad Christian-Lichenhan
LG - Landon Beebe
C - Van Wells
RG - Tyler Brown
RT - Savion Washington

Isiaih Jatta, Jack Wilty, Jake Wiley and Yousef Mugharb - first line reserves

Unkown potential - Alex Hartley (JC Transfer) - Lucas Eckhardt (transfer from AZ), Carter Edwards (3 star recruit class of 22 from Mississippi)

IMO - players run 9 deep on the oline - with Hartley, Eckardt and Edwards as potential players.

This will turn out to be a very under rated unit - most people here under value the talent.

More stats.

This one is a good predictor of things but also doesn’t take into account the power of recruiting and TP. Georgia at 80 will still finish top 5. Kansas’s and UConn who start top 10 will struggle to bowl.

CU is 93.

What’s scary is FSU is number 1 and by talent is considered number one TP and finished top 20 in recruiting.

Scarier still. Michigan who crushed the TP again is number 5 so likely a playoff favorite again. Harbaugh has them rolling.

I’ll be interested to see where we are in three years. Guessing top 10 as we will likely be loaded with juniors

CU WBB - Buffs beat Oregon by 10 in Eugene

Remember not so long ago when Oregon would drub us by 50+ points no matter where we played? Well, now we're beating them by 10 in their own house. Team should have never been pushed out of the rankings. USC is pretty good with 3 McDonald's All Americans (that would be 3 more than CU has). Team should finish top 4 in the conference if it can hold serve at home. Great win on the road! 63-53

CSU bad behavior

School had to issue an apology for its fans. This isn’t unique to CSU at all. I just don’t understand behavior of people these days. It’s just bad and weekly.
