REPORT: Sal Sunseri to coach Colorado's defensive tackles

Sal Sunseri is set to serve as Colorado’s new defensive tackles coach, according to a report from BuffZone.com's Brian Howell.

Colorado tests top-seeded Bruins but can't prevail in Pac-12 quarterfinals

Thursday's game was a display of pique postseason intensity as head coach Tad Boyle received a double-technical foul in the final minute after Colorado went blow-for-blow most of the way against UCLA.

"We didn't lose this game because of officiating. We lost this game.” More on the game:

Pac-12 media rights: How sports gambling and the sale of statistics could fuel revenue growth

... One component hasn’t changed an iota: The potential impact of gambling in general, and the sale of statistical data specifically, on college sports.

“Data is part of media rights, and media rights is one of the issues at the top of our agenda,” Kliavkoff said last year. “We will certainly discuss data rights as part of that package.”

A few days later, the Pac-12 partnered with Tempus Ex Machina, a data technology company based in San Francisco. The agreement created a foundation from which the conference could sell its data and statistics to media, gaming or technology companies.

“This is all designed to be ready for our media rights negotiations,” former Pac-12 Networks president Mark Shuken explained at the time. “We’re trying to get ahead of the future in terms of the fan experience and products and our ability to monetize our data.”

Colorado survives first Pac-12 Tournament test beating Washington, 74-68

Hard fought battle from the Buffs today. Really great to see Hammond play with such poise and accuracy. He is exceeding expectations and the Buffs are all stepping up in a time of need. More on tonight's game:

Sal Sunseri possibly new DT coach

Go Buffs!!!

CFB attendance highest since 2018

Attendance was up considerably last year and I found it interesting that the powers that be get this generation. They want experience. Football is nice but Ike all things 35 yr olds and under do it has to be a bout the total experience.
When the 2010 project was started Bohn was way ahead of his time and wanted two restaurants in the redo of Folsom and also upgraded entertainment and the ability to host music and other events properly.

We never could get the funding and still can’t. Lots of guys promised at the golf and dinner events I went to but sadly most, like what’s happening with NIL, got short arm disease when the actual call came and their buddies were not around to hear a boast that didn’t have to be fulfilled.

Right now we have to figure out a way to pay for what we are even spending but man it would be awesome to see this President push the AD and donors to bring Folsom up to speed and back to the forefront of experience.

We’ve had good attendance because it’s the place to be for the newcomers (most have no clue a game is going on if you look around) and now we have Sanders for a couple years. That helps with butts in seats and it doesn’t matter if they are watching. It’s stil energy. I’m hoping we go on a run and can find some money to finish what was proposed 15+ years ago. It would be awesome to have a brew pub and better A/V along with a stage area pre game tailgate.

Kevin Mathis working to extract the most out of Colorado's cornerbacks

As Colorado cornerbacks coach Kevin Mathis molds five-star talents Travis Hunter and Cormani McClain, he'll be applying everything he learned from former teammate and long-time coaching partner Deion Sanders.

Da Silva, Simpson Named To All-Pac-12 Teams

Tristan da Silva was one of 10-members of the All-Pac-12 First Team while KJ Simpson, a sophomore guard, was selected to the All-Pac-12 Second Team.

"It's a huge honor," da Silva said. "There's so many great players here in the Pac-12, in this power five conference. It's humbling for sure, but also a little uplifting."

"From January one until through March has been really, really good for us," Boyle said. "He's had maybe one or two games where he wasn't great. But he's been shouldering a lot of responsibility for us both offensively and defensively. The best thing about those awards is they're voted on by opposing coaches. You cannot vote for your own players, so when you're you're rewarded with a first team all-conference honor, it means the other coaches have respect for you and that's there's no better feeling to me as a player that you can have as is that."
