OT: The Border War

Gotta love it. Wyoming is pretty good this year, and will likely keep the Bronze Boot for yet another year.

And, yes, the offensive line in Laramie, Wyoming, can protect its quarterback, who is also pretty good.

And the unis? Classic, and almost always the same at home in Laramie. Coach Bohl is not a glitzy guy. Just a great coach and a winner, right now running a solid program against a lot of challenges in good ol' Laramie.

Interesting weekend coming up

First, our line seems better than I thought it would be. Our defense showed a lot of fight the first 3qtrs of the game. Maybe we can keep it a one score game late and get some Folsom magic.

I went trough the conferences. Some good stuff.

ACC-
Duke and BC can get Bowl Eligible
Clemson likely goes under .500. Long time since that has happened.
Louisville and Miami both with a chance to show they are the ones to knock FSU off (not gonna happen 😉)

BIG Ten -
Nebraska likely to get Bowl Eligible
Maryland who has an offense with a chance to get to a bowl against Pedo St
And someone somewhere this weekend in the BIG X besides Michigan might actually score more than 28 (not gonna happen 😂)

BIG XII-
Texas vs KSU, OU vs OkSt, KU vs ISU all games that will be good and all games that help determine a very tight race
BYU vs WVU - someone gets bowl eligible and saves a coach
TCU likely goes under .500 in a game between the two biggest underachievers in the league this year

PAC XII -
Buffs another shot for a bowl. Hardest contest they have left IMO
USC trying to play the spoiler and keep their thin hopes of getting to the conf championship alive
UA can they continue to surge and beat a good UCLA

SEC -
A&M, Florida and Kentucky all looking to get bowl eleigible in tough games. All three fan bases grumbling pretty hard
LSU vs Bama - come on Tigers.
Mizzou vs UGA - could we finally have an upset. Unlikely but hardest game that UGA has had so far

Others
CSU vs Wyoming - can the Rams keep their bowl hopes alive
AFA - commanders trophy within reach as is a NY6 bowl
Tulane, JMU and Liberty - still unbeaten after the weekend

This is just a great season. Next year with 12 playoff spots it’s just even better

CU football mentioned on the game show "Press your luck"

My 81 year old mother is a big game show fan so she watches the night time version of "Press your luck". Since their is another show on she likes to watch at the same time she DVRs the show. She told me I needed to log into her DVR and watch.

On the part of the show where they do the "tell us a little about yourself" segment, one guy said he was from San Diego and just retired from the Navy. He was now going to work in the mentoring other vets. Then he mentioned his son was starting college and was going to play football at the University of Colorado, so he will be making trips to see him play.

There are two players on the roster from San Diego. One is likely not his son. But there is a chance that freshman ILB Victory Johnson could be. Of course since I think the tape those shows way in advance (likely this summer) maybe something changed and his son never joined the team, or his son is listed being from a San Diego Suburb or maybe the parents are divorced, so Victory lived with him mom and so on. Often the player bios will mention the parents, but not in this case.

The guy did not make it to the big money round.
