Hopefully that happens and maybe next year, then maybe the off and on talk of adding them to the Big 12 will stop. IMO they would struggle in a conference of state schools and larger private schools. TCU is the smallest student body in the Big 12, but almost twice as large as Gonzaga.

I am trying to get into MBB a little earlier than normal. mostly because this is a stay inside kind of day (normally do not pay much attention until the conference tourneys start) and noticed this.

With Saban gone, Freeze bringing Auburn up, UT joining, and Kiffin at Miss seemingly doing great what is the new power structure. Clearly UGA is the team to beat but Bama meant that you always had to go through Tuscaloosa. Do they maintain their position or is it no time for the Lane Train or Sark to take the mantle?

Bama is Bama but before Saban it wasn’t what it is today. If I had to pick a second to UGA I think I’d go Ole Miss. Curious what others think. The SEC is a whole new place now
