I have always has a soft spot for Drake as I have a cousin play there in Baseball years ago. Their MBB team is an interesting story:
Drake is 21-2. Darian DeVries left for WVU. Drake hired Ben McCollum this year from D2 Northwest Missouri State. He brought in four of his players from NW Missouri State. Other than a real bad Miami team they have beat Vandy 17-8 and KSU 13-12.
With it like unless UNC wins the Big Sky there will not be a Colorado team in the tourney I will be cheering for them.
