Jack Lamb, Quinn Perry, Carson Wells and Robert Barnes all were solid yesterday

I'm not sure how much of the wide open middle of the field woes deserves to fall on the shoulder of CU's LBs, but as far as making significant contributions, Quinn Perry, Robert Barnes, Jack Lamb and Carson Wells did just that yesterday.

Lamb's scoop and score is the third-longest return of any kind in CU program history, while Barnes has stepped up nicely over the last few weeks, seeing a bigger role on D.

I know many of you aren't super hot on Quinn Perry, but he's performed admirably in Nate Landman's absence, even if he isn't great in pass coverage. Perry has really shown a better nose for finding the right holes and getting to the ball carrier in recent weeks.

As for Wells, his performance requires no elaboration. That kid's a stud.
