Colorado will be another big player in the transfer market this offseason, and the Buffs sent out a new offer to a transfer who has been seeing a wave of interest come his way already. Northwest Missouri State tight end Zach Atkins picked up an offer from CU this evening as the Division II player continues to stack schools on his list.
He entered the portal Nov. 19 with two seasons of remaining eligibility and programs from around the country have wasted no time getting involved in recruiting him. LSU and South Carolina are a couple of his newest offers while Ole Miss, North Carolina, Kentucky, Pittsburgh, Houston and South Florida are some of the schools that have offered the Kansas native.
Atkins caught 18 passes for 179 yards and 3 touchdowns in nine games this season.
