The Buffalo Heart Award is a fan’s award that was established in 1998. 2016 will be the 19th year of the award. The award is presented to the senior football player that fans feel has best shown the traits of DESIRE, GRIT, HEART AND DETERMINATION throughout the season and his career at the University of Colorado. The award is given out to the winner at the last home game of the current season. Symbolically, the award is handed to the player from the stands. Past winners have been:
