Notes from my point of view:

Evan Battey is indeed more svelte than he was previously. A good 10 pounds lighter with more muscle. That will serve him well. It looks like he's finally made the full commitment to getting his body right. I expect he'll be strong through the entire season and all game now. This will help him avoid those silly fouls where he's late rotating or sliding his feet.

DaSilva and Walker both put on really good weight this off season it appears. Both still on the skinny side, but a lot more 'jacked' than they were previously. Both are more dynamic type players so don't want either to get too big as speed and quickness is their games. Good to see they've bulked up enough to hit the boards a bit though. We'll need both to average 5+ over 25 minutes on the boards IMO.

As noted from their photos, O'Brien and Clifford are a lot bigger. Clifford is nearly 25 pounds bigger and it shows as he is well put together now. O'Brien added weight, but took off body fat and added muscle along the way. I hope to see him hit the boards too. We may need him as a 5th big at times while also being a big wing player who can shoot it.

Not a big team, but not a tiny team either. Lovering at 7'1" 225 will do fine at center. Yeah there will be some strong dudes who will muscle him around, but he'll get better and better against it as the year goes on. Will be 245 next year and handle anyone in his space.

We have 4 players who are 6'9" and taller. We have 8 players who are 6'8" and taller. That's actually a pretty good sized roster and I realize a couple of those players are walk ons, but still, not a short roster.

Arizona has 4 players whom are 6'8" and taller, but all 4 are 6'10" and over. They have 7 players whom are 6'7" and over so they aren't much different than us size wise up front. They are much bigger at guard though as most of their guards are 6'6"! They will have the biggest guards in the conference (their smallest guard is 6'4").

UCLA has 6 guys whom are 6'8" and taller. They beat you mostly with their 4 6'7" wings that they can play anywhere from 2-4.

Oregon has 6 players 6'8" and taller. 4 are 7 footers though as they aren't going to get caught with no bigs again like they were a year ago. The rest of their roster is similar sized to CU.

USC has 7 players 6'9" and taller. The rest of their line up is similar to ours. They are still huge, but not as bad as a year ago with Evan Mobley. Isaiah is not the same player Evan is obviously.

ASU has a huge roster of 21 with some players that took the 6th year option and Bagley returning. 7 players 6'8" and taller. Recall a year ago they were very small with only Graham as a big. Their line up is the same size as ours really. The difference is they have 10 guards under 6'4" on their roster (like double our # of guys). I guess they are still Guard U eh?

Stanford has 9 guys 6'8" and taller (the most in the league).
So all in all, we're not a whole lot different than the rest of the league size wise. Not as thick but we're not small.
