Frisco (Texas) Lone Star defensive back Jordan Deck made the trip to Boulder over the weekend, and he left the official visit with the Buffs more impressed by the program than when we arrived. The 6-foot-3, 185-pound recruit will head to Penn State this weekend for an official visit before making trips to Michigan, UCLA and Baylor but CU has given him a lot to think about as he heads into his other visits.

Wyoming transfer cornerback Tyrecus Davis was offered by the Buffs today after posting about his visit with CU on Monday afternoon. The 5-foot-10, 188-pound transfer, who is rated as a three-star prospect by Rivals, led the Cowboys with 8 pass breakups last season after starting in 12 games. He also had 42 tackles and an interception last year. He played two seasons at Wyoming after in from Navarro College, but the rules changes late last year are allowing him an extra season of eligibility.

He's visited Old Dominion, East Carolina and Middle Tennessee so far this spring. New Mexico and New Mexico State are a couple of his other offers.
