Colorado's RB competition continues to play out in camp

Colorado running backs coach Gary “Flea” Harrell is working to identify the best two backs in his group, and so far, there’s four contenders that are capable of being the main ball carriers.

McCaskill wearing a no-contact jersey, but Harrell and Coach Prime have high expectations for him

Kliavkoff May Pull This Off...

...word is that the B1G made reduced share offers to UO/UW that didn't go down too well with the HuskyDucks. That ship may have sailed.

Kliavkoff is indeed preaching the "long play" with Apple. "Get in now, it'll pay off later". WSU/OSU agree to smaller shares now to be distributed to UO/UW. ASU wants to stay.

Arizona is probably gone. Probably. They are still debating.

What a circus.

3 tickets available for CU vs Kneebraska

I just learned three family members will not be able to make it in for the CU vs NU home opener. The tickets are available only to CU fans. The tickets were purchased in Section 121 because of the view of the Buffs and Coach Prime coming out of the tunnel for the first game of the year. I’m selling the tickets for what I paid for them, $365 a piece. The three are together, on the aisle closest to the tunnel. Tickets in the same section are listed for anywhere from $418 each up to $592 on StubHub, Seat Geek and Vivid seats. Message me if interested. I will sell to first come, first serve…there will be no bidding war for Buff fans.

Is Kliavkoff Playing the Long Game?

Obviously, the Apple streaming deal in isolation - and as described so far - ain't gonna fly with most of the PAC9. But the below article piqued my interest - Disney is hemorrhaging money and is looking for "strategic partners" (if not a buyer) for ESPN:

Know who's got gazillions to buy ESPN? Apple. Suppose - just suppose - GK knows a few things about Apple's plans and is telling the PAC9 "yeah, this is gonna suck for now. But in a couple of years, Apple will buy ESPN, the PAC9 will be comfortably in the ESPN ecosystem and our problems will be solved".

This presumes GK is playing 5D chess while guys like Rick George and Yormark are playing "Hungry, Hungry Hippos". But - BUT - it could explain the silence coming out of Arizona and elsewhere in the wake of yesterdays presentation.

Just throwing it out.

Great article by Dinich

She is very good at what she does and rarely gets things wrong or embellishes.

I don’t buy for a minute PD knew much until the end and then was given a nice ceremonial thank you publicly. He was actually in the chancellor meeting that gave the extension.

I believe Saliman, RG and Sanders were the only ones that knew all the details prior to the PAC media days and events from there.

I also agree with the numerous sources here. Yormark and the BIG XII get it. Captain confused, GK, and the PAC presidents never have. As was said in this “the PAC was in control and just sat there …. Yormark was hired and went to work”

We are in good hands
