Camaraderie and S&C

Understanding that they don't show everyone, but it looks like the team is having a lot of fun together in summer workouts and great camaraderie, especially amongst the OL/DL. WRs seem pretty tight as well.

Without being any sort of expert, seems like the players are really embracing the S&C program, are working hard and pushing each other.

Obviously, we will see how all of this translates to the season, but we look like the guys are enjoying themselves and working harder at the same time. Like what I see (even if it's produced.)

Notes from a historic NBA Draft for CU

Few notes from tonight's first round:

-First time they’ve had multiple players selected in one draft since it was shortened to 2 rounds in 1989
-First time they’ve had 2 first round picks in any NBA Draft
-Cody Williams (No. 10) is the highest Colorado draft pick since Chauncey Billups went 3rd overall in 1997

KJ Simpson still on the board with round 2 coming tomorrow

Three-star WR Evan Haynes recaps his Colorado official visit

"The amount of experience they have on the coaching staff from NFL coaches, NFL players, college coaches, college players, that’s a really big part of it too.”

OT: US OPEN TV

If you want to watch things like the featured groups you will need Peacock. Since this is not a PGA event it will not be on PGA live or if you watch the PGA live content on ESPN+ like I do it will not be on there.

USA Network will have the whole first round main broadcast.

Peacock will be the only way to see the second round before 11:00 AM mountain, then NBC has it.

USA will have the third and fourth rounds until 10:00 AM, then NBC has it.

You can watch on USopen.com/the USGA App/NBCSports.com

I am good since I have Peacock, so it is just switching from watching content on ESPN+ to Peacock for me personally.

OT: Upcoming US Olympic Team Trials

Yes I get that is not a sport that maybe no one cares about, but just in case there is even one other person. I am an Olympic geek every 2 years, so I am planning on watch a little of it this weekend live or on replay (all times MT)

Friday 4/26 - 8:00 AM Canoe Slalom - Day 1
Saturday 4/27 - 8:00 AM Canoe Slalom - Day 2
Saturday 4/27 - 3:30 PM Kayak - Finals

The Buffs have picked up a key commitment in the 2025 class today with four-star Nashville (Tenn.) Lipscomb Academy offensive lineman Chauncey Gooden announcing his pledge to Colorado following an official visit to Boulder over the weekend. He is the fourth commit in the 2025 class for CU and the third four-star prospect among that group.
