...frankly, today went as I expected. After the 1st Q, I sped through the DVR recording at 3x speed.

I was anticipating a loss - this was NUs biggest game of the year. I knew they'd be ready. But this is the exact same damn offense as last year. The OL isn't much better and we refuse commit to running the ball. Once again, if Shedeur isn't completing passes to TH, we're cooked. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Fact: This program needs Travis and Shedeur to leave before anything can get built. And we'll see just how committed Deion Sanders is to coaching in Boulder.

Wow. Crazy stuff. The guy said some stuff that is just wrong but man I’d be pissed if I were him about how that went down.

First time going to a Mines game. Wanted to go for a few years now. I figured since there is no college football on tonight and that fact I work in Denver West it work great for going after work. General Admission was just $15 and parking is free close to the stadium in either the parking garage or in Lot Q.

This will mean I have been to P4 (mostly in Folsom), G5 at both CSU and AFA, D1AA (a UNC game) and now a D2 stadium for games. Because the closest D3 is in Lincoln, NE likely will never make it to one of those.

Trying to find ways to be optimistic prior to my trip to Lincoln. I looked at last year's stats against NU. I am starting with the assumption that this year's defense and offense are better than last year's and that the CU D is better than UTEP. Last year we gave up 222 yds rushng (5.4 per carry) of which 67 came from the QB. Against UTEP, NU had 223 yds and 4.7 per and nothing from the QB.

I believe we need to control the running game and force their QB to make plays. If our D can do better than last year and this year's UTEP team, we should be in pretty good shape. Seems doable, even on the road. Our LBs need to be on their game from kickoff to final gun.

From a Offensive perspective we gained 123 yds on the ground, 100 without QBSS yards and managed to win. It feels like we should be able to match that at least.

WE were +3 on turnovers.

I listened to a 75 minute podcast from a lincoln anyalst last night - Dr Ron i believe. He was not mincing words and spoke of his hate for CU, the players, the fans, the coaches. I know this is a common sentiment for the Husker fans this week, I know several NU Fans that have said the same to me. THeir freshman QB with a cornhusker dad will be under incredible pressure to not lose this game. We need to keep this baby
close and let QBSS and the offense takeover in Q4. If we are within 7 points to start the 4th we should have a good chance to win.

like they did in the past. But here is the story on it. If I get a chance I might format it into chart form. I am worried also that they might do a good job getting all the games. Also they might not give Gameday and Big Noon Saturday 411. They did daily numbers for about a year and stopped. Other site I could get additional 411 from have shut down.

I’m curious what others think. He is such a special talent. It seems OL, DL and QB dominate the top end of the draft. Travis, to me, is likely a WR at the next level and perhaps a DB some. Is his position one that just keeps him from being a real #1 pick ? Can he play into that and if so what do you think has to happen?

I see him top 5 and certainly ahead of SS (currently Kiper #3 QB) but I’m struggling to see how he can get to #1 which I would absolutely love for this guy. He is such a joy to watch, a great talent and I like how he does his job. He is the kind of talent that could get a guy like me to tune in more on Sundays and become a fan of whatever team he plays for.
