How belief in Deion Sanders brought Charles Kelly to Colorado

Some highlights from the CU defensive coordinator's various media appearances Friday. A lot of good and interesting nuggets in here

Offense or defense? For Travis Hunter, why not both?

At Pac-12 media day Friday, Travis Hunter was asked the question so many have wondered about over the past six months -- is he really going to play offense and defense for a Power Five program?

Disney, ESPN, PAC12

I will start by saying I know nothing about this stuff and if this is an idiot thread feel free to delete or ridicule me. I read that Disney’s CEO Iger has stated that their linear and cable assets (which I assume includes ESPN) may not be “core” to their business and some sources. seem to think that means they are for sale. If so what does this do to existing conference tv contracts and could it be the source of the PAC 12 holdup? Seriously, I don’t understand any of this and am asking those on the board that may.

Brandon Davis-Swain's high school coach details his decision to pick CU

“There was no hesitation or questioning,” when 2024 four-star DE Brandon Davis-Swain committed to CU his high school coach Zachary Hilbers said.

*Dan Patrick fires shot at USC and UCLA over move to the Big Ten and its impact on student athletes.

"I get it everybody wants to make their money there...But at what point do you say I think we are doing a disservice to the kids, because people keep telling me it's all about the kids...No it's not. It's about grownups who dictate what the kids are going to do..."

Basketball Season Tics Renewel

I just received my renewel notice from the CU AD.
So, when you go into actually renew your tics right before you place the order there is a
an option (a box to check) that says you can "also" receive your tics via text message.
I thought this was a bit weird so I called the CU Tic Office and the guy (Jake) said that this was not an option but it would basically over-ride receiving your tics via email (my preference). Needless to say I did not check the box but this is totally mis leading and incorrect.
I told him he should report this to his superiors (of course, I don't think they work directly for CU any longer) as there will be some pissed off people if this isn't addressed.
This is the way it was explained to me so please call yourself when renewing.
