Question for the board. When do the new higher scholarship limits kick in, and what happens to the approx 20 walk-one that are on the current roster, when the walk-on program is eliminated? Ben Finneseth, for example, has been a significant contributor on special teams, playing on most units, while seeing very limited mop-up time on the field at safety, yet seemed to be a big, and very visible part of the team. Does he get a scholarship, or is he shown the door? And what about Cam Dempsey, “The Governor” he was a backup long snapper, that didn’t see the field, but was the voice of the players, and liaison between the coaches and the team. Not very familiar with most of the rest of them because, well, they’re walk-ones, and primarily practice, and scout team contributors. Curious if anyone, (maybe one of the Mods?) knowsthe actual timetable for the switch, and what happens at CU with these guys?
