Anyone know who KW brought onto the staff or what changes they made? They have worked the TP well and developed kids but overall recruiting has been around 35 or so under him. Decent and respectable but not great.
This year they are currently 20 and much mor importantly are 23 in quality of recruit with 8 4 stars. They’ve been in the high 50s and last year 61 (compared to the silly overall ranking of 37 because they had a bunch of bodies).
On field results help but there has just been this feeling of building momentum the last couple years with them. I don’t know much about the staff but it’s interesting to watch.
With USC and UCLA leaving and the rest of us probably fighting for one of the other 4 that is likely to be taken from the PAC I see Utah as our biggest competitor. We aren’t in the same place as UW or OU but we do match up well with Utah and that’s going to be a big “rivalry” moving forward in the new PAC is my guess
