Josh Scott is a very effective shooter from 15 ft and in. The UCONN bigs, especially Brimah like to stay around the hoop. I hope JS is getting the ball alot in the 10-12 foot range and fires at will. He will make most of those shots and/or draw out the UCONN center either opening the lane for himself or a teammate.
If we play dirty defense and rebound ( we have to hope for this) our key will be scoring. I think working off JS who can either knock down the open mid range jumper or kick it to an open teammate for an open 3 will get us what we need. Frankly, JS has had the open 10-12 footer all year but instead choses to back it down and he has struggled finishing close to the hoop that situation. Especially if the refs arent calling fouls, he needs to take the jumper.
Thoughts?
