I have no idea if this has been reported elsewhere or not, but I learned today that Tony Brown has actually enrolled at Colorado.
I posted the tweet below earlier this week, but I thought it was just for a visit. Since Colorado is the home team this weekend and the game is close to CU, they're allowed to host recruits. (pretty sure of that)
But a source told me this week that they were able to get Brown enrolled this week - rather than having him enroll in January of 2018.
The reasons?
1. No other school can poach Brown now. They could have previously if he was a junior college student.
2. Colorado can get everything settled for Brown in the classroom to get him eligible to play in 2018.
Brown will redshirt this season and will be a redshirt junior next season.
