The rise is no longer a dream. As ESPN just said we already have 2 ESPN 300 commits, last time we had 1 was 2012! And we may have more even this week.
This ship is turning around and due to a confluence of factors we are going to make major waves with this class:
1) facilities now impressing recruits, families journalists
2) we have strong recruiters almost across the board
3) we have already secured top QB and other key highly rated players who are also taking an active role in recruiting
4) we have a big class and our top 20 (which count for ranking class) are going to be strong
5) our D under new leadership made a huge leap last year and now with new blood bringing in Air Raid we can credibly argue we can see that kind of jump on offense
6) we are not Iowa State or even Oregon State. That is to say we have a history of major success conference championships, national championship heirs man, top 25 wins all time... This makes the rise discussion credible as well
I get the feeling CU this year as far as recruiting is now becoming cool school to pick because of the above. For those who like the challenge but believe the rise is real to have the chance to be a part of that with awesome facilities one of best college towns in US and a great school as well as great coaches who actually care and do things the right way we are almost a sexy choice now.
So here is what we can do. Quit the bitching and bickering and debating on every thread about how many wins HCMM needs to not get fired and other bitching we do on a regular basis.
Recruits and families are believing the rise is real. Let's not give them reasons to doubt it. Also lets get behind our players and staff here on social media and those who live in US in the stadiums in the fall.
This class is going to make headlines because to the rest of college football we are going to come out of the blue with this class. We can carry this momentum into the fall and surprise some people on the field too.
