A min of 14 teams (top two have byes) or 16 with no byes. The 14 teams would be 4 SEC, 4 Big Ten, 2 Big 12, 2 ACC, Top G5 champion and one at large (IE Notre Dame most years). The SEC would go to 9 conference games. The Big Ten and SEC schools would play one interconference game (in a separate TV contract). The P4 conferences (at least the SEC) is talking about making conference championship weekend into play-in weekend for their 4 spots. They do not seem to address the breakdown AQ bids for 16 teams. I think it would be 4+4+3+3+1+1 or 4+4+2+2+1+3. I prefer the 16 as there be no byes.
