2 years ago there was nothing on this board but fans sharing their misery - no feeling that we could be competitive in virtually any game, no spark in the program, no hope that the train could be put back on the tracks, and, frankly, no enjoyment of CU football.

Enter Coach Prime. We've endlessly debated everything - the culture, recruiting & the player revolving door, the branding and marketing, the coaching, the in-game decision-making, and the future of the program. All sides have valid points. But I think we can all agree that the energy and joy of being a fan again is there for anyone who cares for CU. As fans, we'll always be critiquing our team and wanting more. That's the nature of being a fan. But being able to do that with the bar now set so high? Wow - what a difference!

As we go into the off-season, we can celebrate a deserving Heisman winner, a 9-4 team who many didn't think could win even 6 games, and a sense of being a real program headed in the right direction. That said, I don't believe we will ever experience what we have been able to be a part of over the last two years. You don't have to like or agree with how we've gotten here, but CU football, and, in fact, college football, has changed, and Coach Prime is a huge reason. Thank you to Coach Prime, Travis, Shedeur, and everyone else in the program for taking us on this ride. We may have great destinations ahead, but the past couple of years have been special, and just how special they have been will become more clear as time goes on.
