Zachary Carter is a Class of 2017 defensive end prospect from Tampa (Fla.) Hillborough. He received an offer from Colorado recently and has other early offers from Florida Atlantic, Florida International, Indiana, Kentucky, Middle Tennessee State and Western Kentucky. Carter called Colorado "a nice option to have" but said he wants to stay somewhat close to home for college so Jim Leavitt might not want to waste too much time here.
