The three-star prospect from Chandler (Ariz.) High currently has offers from Colorado, Boston College and UMass. He is also hearing from Arizona State, Washington and Northwestern. Moran is listed as a safety prospect on Rivals, and he is open to playing defense in college, but he will start at quarterback for Chandler High as a senior with hopes of proving he is worthy of drawing recruiting looks for quarterback as well. The 6-foot-3, 185-pound Moran said most colleges are simply looking at him as an athlete right now. He claims no favorites and said he will definitely want until after his senior season begins to make his college decision. Coach Bernardi recruits the Grand Canyon State from the Buffs' staff, and of course CU signed Moran's Chandler High teammate Justin Jan in February. "I do like Colorado a lot," Moran said. "I have heard the location of the school is great and the campus is beautiful. I like Coach MacIntyre over there a lot. We connected really well when I talked with him. The whole coaching staff over there seems really cool. They seem like they are building that program up to be great in the future." Here is a link to clips of Moran playing safety last season:
