John Okwoli received his second Pac-12 offer from Colorado via head coach Mike MacIntyre yesterday morning, and while he remains open and is planning to take his time with the process, he has high interest in the Buffs. "Usually the head coaches don't call to offer so for that to come from him (MacIntyre) was big," said the 6-foot-2.5, 193-pound Okwoli. 2015 CU signee Isaiah Oliver is a close friend and had been in his ear about the Buffs even before the offer came through. Washington State, Nevada, New Mexico State, Northern Arizona, UNLV, Utah State and Yale have also offered. Okwoli is being projected by most colleges as a receiver. A two-way standout for Phoenix (Ariz.) North Canyon, he hauled in 86 catches, had 1,934 all-purpose yards, scored 12 touchdowns, and recorded 47 tackles and two interceptions as a defensive back, in 10 games as a junior. I'll have up a front page write-up with more shortly.
