Joe Kupcikevicius is a 6-foot-6, 305-pound offensive lineman from Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, Calif. He is originally from Illinois and enrolled at South Dakota State initially out of high school. "Joe Kup" rededicated himself academically and athletically, and had a standout redshirt freshman season at the Junior College level. Colorado, Boise State and San Diego State have now offered, and a number of other programs (including Arizona State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Washington State) are recruiting him. "I like them," he said of Colorado. "I did a lot of research on them and I know they had some pretty good tackles come out of there in recent years, like Nate Solder and David Bakhtiari. I am a fan of their tackles. ... They said they are in need of linemen so there is a good shot of me getting on the field.” He plans to take his time before deciding. He's on pace to earn his AA degree in February with two to play two. I'll have more in a front page write-up shortly. Click here to watch his redshirt freshman highlights on Hudl.
