The three-star outside linebacker/safety prospect from Fresno (Calif.) Edison said CU was the first to offer him, and he has since added offers from CSU and Fresno State. UCLA, Oklahoma and some others are showing interest as well. Coach Lindgren is actually after him from the Buffs' staff. Tate said he loves CU's campus and wants to get a look with his own eyes. A trip to Colorado to visit both CU and CSU is a possibility for June. Tate plans to take his time with the process, though. UCLA is his dream school. He also plays quarterback for Edison but is being projected by every college as a defensive player. I'll have up a front-page write-up tomorrow. His junior highlight reel:
