Jimmy Carter might have done a poor job as president but he did an excellent job of living life as an example of humility, compassion, charity, honesty and impact. I have always admired him the way I admire George Bush Senior for what he did outside the office. The world was a better place when men knew how to conduct themselves with grace, quiet strength and humility.
We lost a good one today but his 100 years of service and impact will be felt globally long after he is gone.
