Interesting patterns with 2017 recruiting:

✓ Oregon landed six recruits from Florida.
✓ Arizona State didn't land even one recruit from California.
✓ Utah continues to recruit well on the islands, with three Hawaii signees.
✓ Stanford landed three of the rare five-stars, from Washington, Georgia, and Texas.
✓ Washington, with national buzz, didn't land one recruit from outside the Pac-12's footprint.
✓ Unlike the previous six years, USC did not land even one five-star.
✓ CU took ten California recruits, eight from Texas.
✓ Ohio State grabbed five Texas players and four from Florida.
✓ Michigan landed six in-state kids, and four from (huh?) Connecticut.
✓ Oklahoma took nine players from Texas, only one more than CU.
✓ Four of Penn State's recruits come from talent-rich Virginia.
✓ Only three of Georgia's recruits are from Florida, while 18 are in-state.
✓ LSU raided Texas for five players, all of them blue-chip four-stars.
✓ Nebraska got three four-stars out of California.
✓ A&M, even in the SEC, stayed close to home with 20 in-state recruits.
