Does anyone have an opinion on whether Derek should be an OLB or a DE for the buffs? If he wants to play at the next level I dont think there is anyway he can play OLB as he does not appear to have the explosiveness, quickness or speed required in the NFL. I think even DE in the NFL might be a stretch unless he shows much better ability as a pass rusher - he may need to bulk up and be a 4-3 tackle in the NFL. It seems to me he would be best suited as a DE for the buffs, along with JAckson at DE and Edwards/Tuiloma/Lopez at NT. Falo and Hasslebach along with whoever else steps up would be better suited there and then we get our best players on the field.
