Best. Movie. Of. The. Summer
I went with no great expectation and left completely blown away. Tom Hardy is understated as Max Rockatansky, but who cares? The action, the over-the-top characters, vehicle get-ups, cinematography and better-than-expected narrative make it all worth it. Charlize Theron is excellent and you've got to love a car chase that futures a huge vehicle with a stage complete with a mutant playing heavy metal chords on an electric guitar that breathes fire while standing on top of 4 stories of concert speakers.
