Being a Broncos fan since 1963, I was very sad to see that Alex Gibbs has passed away of a stroke.
For those who aren’t familiar, Alex was the OL coach during their John Elway / Terrell Davis /Shannon Sharpe Super Bowl years.
His zone blocking schemes guaranteed the Broncos could “plug and play” just about any RB in and they’d rack up 1,000+ yard seasons.
