There's quite a lot of greats from the 70s that were in love with the state of Colorado. Boulder was an early stomping grounds for the likes of the Eagles (RIP Tulagi), Poco and the Flying Burrito Brothers among others if my memory serves me correctly.
Glenn Frey I'm pretty sure even had a few houses in the state, as well. Not hard to imagine why. Colorado = god's country.
