I did a story some time ago about CU Director of Sports Video Jamie Guy, who, for the last few years has been undertaking a project of converting a bunch of archival film to digital so that it might be preserved. Today I noticed some examples of Guy's work that I wanted to share, as in the last 24 hours, CU's Football YouTube page has uploaded a good handful of old game footage dating back to the 1950s.
These serve as case-in-point examples of what Guy has been working on. From what he'd told me last September, there's a mountain of old film/tapes that the AD has in storage, from which he's been steadily picking things out to digitize.
