So I wanted to just start a little thread here with some Nebraska-related items. Recently, I had a phone call with the Rivals team covering the University of Nebraska, where we traded notes and thoughts on both teams' standing after spring practices.
During my talk, my colleague told me that he anticipates somewhere in the neighborhood of 30,000 Huskers fans making the trip out to Boulder in September.
I touched base with some folks on campus at Colorado who told me they expect at max about 7,000 Nebraska fans in Folsom Field for that game, with the remainder (which could be a large number) catching the game elsewhere (friend's house, sports bar, etc.).
For those of you with attendance at Nebraska/CU games in Boulder under your belt, what do you make of that? Could you see 30,000 fans traveling out here? How large of a force in the past have the Huskers had in terms of fans coming out to Boulder?
