Earlier in the year when we did a flip watch feature, I had included Jaren Mangham on the Midwest list. Around this area (Michigan/Detroit) there has always been the expectation he would be tough for Colorado to keep. But, in truth, he's been solid to the Buffs since his commitment. He and I have kept up throughout the fall and talking with him this morning in the wake of the MacIntyre rumors, Jaren said:
"I've talked with the coaches and as of now the reports are not true. If it does end up happening will cross that road then but I do have alot of schools reaching out and my recruitment is picking back up."
Something to watch, for sure, if these rumors do not get put to bed quickly. With the early signing period opening just five weeks from tomorrow, that does not leave a lot of time if a situation does arise where a coach is fired.
