Reports are that the PAC 12 will be announcing their TV deal towards the end of March and shortly after will announce it 8th full member (talk is that it will be Texas State) and maybe some non-football members.
Northern Illinois is going to move its non-football sports to the Horizon (football in the MWC). The exception are wrestling and gymnastics, which they hope they can keep in the MAC as affiliate members.
It appears that Utah Valley and Cal Baptist (non-football schools) will be joining the Big West (a non-football conference) from the WAC to replace Hawaii who is joining the MWC as a full member (was in for football only) and UC-Davis who is joining the MWC as a non-football member. This will drop the WAC to 6 MBB playing schools so I think they will need to add 2 to keep their automatic bid into the tourney.
The football playing schools in the WAC are in a conference with the football playing schools of the A-Sun at the D1AA level call the United Athletic Conference.
