I love this time of year . . . Hope springs eternal for so many teams (and some false hope for many.) Even more exciting that we know that our boy Travis will be the 2nd or 3rd pick (praying 3rd to my NYG) and following the Shedeur saga. It's pretty crazy that he went from almost a "guaranteed" top 5-10 pick to talk that he may go out of the first round (I know there are a few here that have always said, great college QB but a meh pro prospect.) As they say, this time of year is "Lying Season" because so much intentional misinformation is spread.

I am a bit surprised how many reports have said that Shedeur did not interview well because I anticipated him knowing he has to overcome the Ego and the Sanders Hype Machine. I've read a few reports that said something along the lines, "The worst formal interview I've ever been a part of in my life. He is so entitled . . . He has horrible body language . . . he blames teammates, but the biggest thing is he is not that good." I can understand that there are on-field critiques like doesn't drive the ball, holds the ball too long, takes unnecessary sacks, but I'm really surprised his wasn't coached up to overcome some of the personality concerns in the interviews . . . I would have thought he was better prepared knowing that he has that target. I have winced every time he personally takes credit for CU's turn around (while it may be true in a lot of ways, not a great look to keep bringing it up coming off self absorbed) and his ending every other sentence with "Legendary" has to get old for these Scouts and GMs. Just not good looks that could have been completely avoided and mitigated while still being confident and professional. Will be interesting to see how quickly he goes and how much of this is just teams spreading misinformation so they have a better shot of landing him. I'm guessing that he will fall and either the Giants or Browns will try to trade into the back end of of the round and take him (Pittsburgh could take him at 21 too.)

Of course, Travis has had the opposite and teams love his drive, attitude, etc. Talked about like one of only 2-3 almost guaranteed players (along with Carter and Jentry.) Can't wait to watch him week to week with the big boys. Ugh, but to the Browns just hurts (which everyone would say if the Giants took him too, but at least it's my team lol.)

Who else do we think may be taken? I think Jimmy has a good shot in the later rounds because he has come up a lot as one of the WRs that have impressed at the combine, Pro-Day, Senior Bowl, interviews, etc. Such a feel good story if he gets drafted. The other one that seems to be coming up is Sheppard because of his size and athleticism, etc. Seems like there are a few guys that could go late or be swept up right away as undrafted FA (Green, Cam, Wester.) Not sure about Shilo . . . I don't think he is a draft pick but will likely get picked up for name alone as a low risk chance.

What are you all's thoughts, predictions, etc. Love this time of year!
