I had an appointment with one of the orthopedic surgeons today at the CU Sports Medicine Center at Folsom Field. I must say that I was really impressed. This place is gorgeous and is the best equipped physical therapy place I have ever seen. Their docs are on the cutting edge of sport performance and rehab. One of their doctors even does platelet injections to repair damaged hips from athletic trauma such as football, basketball, soccer, steeplechase and much more. There were pictures mounted on the walls of famous former Buffs who were healed by CU docs. Much praise was written by the injured athlete on all of these pics for the job that was done on them to get them back to peak performance. Our athletes are very fortunate to have such a talented staff and awesome training room. Coach Mac relies heavily on them to heal his players.
