Some familiar names: Jack Stoll, starting TE (former Regis Jesuit). JoJo Domann, backup safety (former recruit from Pine Creek). Also Damion Daniels, former recruit target, backup NG.
Features lots of JUCOs and transfers. A note, one of their transfers is WR Mike Williams, at 5'10" 185# has a max 605 squat and is the fastest player on their team. Former UCF starting safety Tre Neal grad transferred to Nebraska and is starting. He was going to be a backup at UCF this year (was 2nd string in their spring practices). 11 senior starters in all for Nebraska so they have a lot of experience there.
Adrian Martinez won the QB job after not playing his senior year due to an ACL tear. He is a very dynamic QB who can jump cut like Reggie Bush (before the ACL injury), but his passing was very deliberate. Big wind up, little arm strength, very floaty. Isn't going to sit back and read a defense. May throw in Gebbia if CU can get up in that game. Martinez though is going to be trouble on the ground. A LOT of trouble. Not easy to bring him down at all. Not sure if the explosiveness is there though so soon after injury.
