Austin,

I think CU is perfectly situated to take advantage of this new NCAA circumstance. What has worked against the Buffs in the recruiting of freshman in recent years is the talk from the so called elite programs that a kid can make a name for him or herself - at the current acknowledged winning programs. So many a kid with their heart pointed to CU have signed offers with other schools thinking they made the heady decision on what's best for them. Once they get to the new place and find themselves lost in the shuffle - or lied too - those kids get their second chance to go to Boulder. In effect - the transfer portal and the one free transfer rule - should even out college athletics.

At some point - when CU returns to prominence on the football field especially - it might work the other way.
