The kid is 6-5, 220, runs a 4.5 40, and has the strongest (and most accurate by some accounts) arm of any quarterback on the team. Everyone has also said he has a great work ethic and is very smart.
The coaching staff was patient and gave him the benefit of a redshirt year. How the hell is this kid not our starter next year with Sefo's injury is my question? I don't care about setting high expectations for the kid, all of the best QBs have to deal with it from day one. Just rewatched his senior year highlights again. Definitely raw but my god does he have a lot of Marcus Mariota in him. Just don't see how he isn't our starter next year. The throw at 1:33 was just incredible.
