Below is an across-the-Pac-12 list I compiled that examines where each respective program stands currently, here on July 17, in terms of Class of 2022 size, national rank and average Rivals commitment rank. For comparison's sake, at the end of each school there is the national rank for how its 2021 class finished.

*OSU defensive end commit Takari Hickle has not been fully evaluated by Rivals; he has no star assignment/rankings yet, so that naturally dropped the Beavs’ average commit ranking down.

2022 Pac-12 classes in order by average commit ranking:

10: OSU: 5.11

.....

As we can see, Colorado certainly isn't abnormal or anything in where its current 2022 class falls nationally. Middle of the pack is probably most fair to say. That said, the Buffs' average commit ranking (most of which are 5.5RRs currently) does trend in the bottom third of the Pac right now. Obviously, still time for things to shake up (to an extent) but it is interesting to see how things stand here and now.
