So how would one get in touch with Matt? A neighbors son is playing for a tiny college in Kansas that puts a lot of small town kids into D1 programs. He was stuck behind two all american DE's for the upcoming season and one coach took him under his wings and moved him to TE, where they expect him to start if he keeps progressing. He was asked by a lineman after spring practices how the number one TE is feeling, even though the coaches have not told him yet.
Anyway, being from Rural Steamboat Springs he does not really have the opportunity to train or be coached by what he needs to succeed, so I am trying to get him with Matt a couple times a week this summer in addition to stacking small square bales of hay this summer, which his dad had to do at a jog pre two a days and even during two a days, but only 1000 bales a day during practice. Anyway, with the beyond whole milk from our farms, cheese, etc, we can put the weight on him, just need to get him into something a little more structured.
He has the mean streak one needs for the job and his coaches have told him he can block more than one guy as he pancakes one player but possibly could have screened three for the 4.29 running back that is playing next year at their school.
