Schedule is out. No games on ESPN main or CBS. All of our games against the LA schools are on the Pac 12 network (really, why???). Paradise Jam games are all on ESPN3. Tennessee game is on FS1 and Kansas is on ESPN2. Not as many games on national TV for a team coming off a ranked season. Kind of disappointing.

Tad Interview:

- Really teaching defense. All the newcomers are gifted offensive players. High school kids aren't always asked to play defense so that's where a lot of teaching goes.
- The point guard situation will be a 3 headed monster: Key is ahead and looking like PG1, Hammond and KJ will be the other 2 that will play PG.
- Javon Ruffin isn't ready to play. 3 weeks out at this point but they don't have a definite timeline. The plan is for him to play this year still.
- Allen is out for the year and is on crutches. Could benefit in the long run like Evan Battey is. An elite level athlete.
- Battey has worked on his 3 point shot. He's a threat there if people don't guard him. Won't be high volume 3 point shooter but will take the shot occasionally.
- Eli is improving, and is one of the team leaders, but is a bit shy. Not a vocal guy and not comfortable talking. Needs to get out of his comfort zone. Efficient shooting has improved his game.

Player Updates:
As I noted from my FIFA post a month or so ago, Da Silva looks taller. He was as tall as a 6'10" player listed on the German team. Here is his updated info from CU.
23 *Tristan da Silva F 6-10 210 So. 1L Munich, Germany (Ludwigsgymnasium Munich)

Others:
5 Quincy Allen G/F 6-7 190 Fr. HS Silver Spring, Md. (Maret School [Washington D.C.])
3 *Keeshawn Barthelemy G 6-2 169 So. 1L Montreal, Que. (Thornlea Secondary [Toronto, Ont.])
21 *Evan Battey F 6-8 269 Sr. 3L Los Angeles, Calif. (Villa Park)
32 *Nique Clifford G 6-5 183 So. 1L Colorado Springs, Colo. (The Vanguard School)
40 *Benan Ersek G 6-2 185 Sr. 3L Vienna, Austria (Kent Denver)
1 Julian Hammond III G 6-2 180 Fr. HS Denver, Colo. (Cherry Creek)
30 *Will Loughlin F 6-10 250 Sr. 1L Seattle, Wash. (Seattle Preparatory School)
34 Lawson Lovering C 7-0 220 Fr. HS Cheyenne, Wyo. (Central)
41 Cody Mains F 6-8 210 Fr. HS Fairfax, Va. (Woodson)
42 Amondo Miller, Jr. G/F 6-6 185 Fr. HS Littleton, Colo. (Valor Christian)
0 *Luke O’Brien G 6-8 198 So. 1L Littleton, Colo. (Columbine)
24 *Elijah Parquet G 6-4 194 Sr. 3L Beaumont, Texas (West Brook)
44 Jack Pease G 6-0 162 Fr. HS Dallas, Texas (Highland Park)
2 KJ Simpson G 6-2 175 Fr. HS West Hills, Calif. (Chaminade)
11 Javon Ruffin G 6-5 195 Fr. HS New Orleans, La. (PHHoenix Prep [Ariz])
12 *Jabari Walker F 6-8 195 So. 1L Inglewood, Calif. (AZ Compass Prep)

Interesting to note that Jabari's height is listed at 6'8", but also as noted from many others, he looks closer to 6'9" than 6'8". He is definitely taller than Battey and looks closer to Tristan and Loughlin in height. I wonder if they just haven't updated his info yet.
Other notes:
-Luke O'Brien is listed at 6'8" now. He looks significantly bigger this year. Looks more like a forward than guard which is good because we need him to be a forward.
-Eli (now Elijah) Parquet is listed at 6'4" now
-All of our PGs are 6'2".
-Nique has gained about 10 pounds and it's obvious from his photos he has put on significant muscle since last year. On team pictures, he sat with the forwards so I believe he will be a forward this year. More of a point forward at the wing spot. Seems like that is the spot that fits him.
