Wyatt Lowell is a 6-foot-10, 200-pound big man from Gilbert (Ariz.) Williams Field. He received an offer from Colorado earlier this week. "They have been recruiting me off and on for about two years so it wasn't like they were brand new when the offered me. I have been hearing from and learning about them for a while," he said. "I know Colorado is a great school that plays in the Pac-12. Their academics are ranked extremely high so that is awesome. I am really looking for a school with high academics and high basketball, and Colorado has that. They won the Pac-12 Championship just a couple years ago. So far everything I have heard makes them sound really, really good." Lowell said he is also drawing increased interest from Cal and Gonzaga, and he has other offers from Colgate, Lehigh, Northern Colorado, Oklahoma State, Rice, San Diego, UC Davis, Utah State, Utah Valley and Weber State. Lowell plans to line up three or four official visits before making a commitment by the early signing period in November. He said he is narrowing his list down, but isn't ready to name his finalists yet. Colorado is expected to get a visit from him, though. Lowell is a skilled big that shoots well for his size.
