I am now 3-1 in games attended at Lincoln Memorial Field. Not proud of getting suckered in to attending last Saturday. A few observations.
-The NUBS have a strange fetish with the 1994 National Championship. Someone should tell them none of the current players know what a pager is or anything about the 1994 national championship
-Drone shows can be pretty cool
-The NCAA needs to put a cap on artificial noise from loudspeakers. THose nice Nebraska folks ought to be ashamed of themselves pretending their stadium is loud, they just buy the biggest damn speakers they can find and turn them to max volume when the opposing offense is on the field. Look, natural nosie from fans is fine but artifical noise needs to be banned.
-The hatred and disdain for all things colorado, in Linclon is real and it is palpable.
-I like their coach, but i have little respect for the program that pretends to be one thing and really is the opposite. I hope they lose every week they play.
